Peak District - 2017.

A couple of days away from the smoke, escaping to some fresh air with Tim & Alex. At the time of putting these photos online, it’s almost been 4 years since this trip. A terrifying prospect in itself, but after looking through these photos again I realise how much I miss shooting so haphazardly, something I’ll be keeping in mind when its time to lace up the walking boots and get out again.

Day 1.
Arriving at the Roaches, before driving through Edale to our campsite in the aptly named, Hope.

Day 2.
A failed sunrise mission to Winnats Pass, followed by a day of exploring the various Edges and reservoirs of the Peaks, Snake Pass woods and a sunset stop at Mam Tor.

Day 3.
Our final day. Started with a more successful sunrise mission, this time to Mam Tor. A few more stops to fill the lungs before heading back south. I vividly remember finding it harder to breathe stepping out of the tube station at Seven Sisters, a lasting impression from this trip.
